Today I’m going to show you how to create a very satisfying desert that contains less than 3g of sugar.
Sugar’s NOT your friend if you’re trying to lean out!
Sugar’s really the enemy if you’re trying to heal your body and lose fat, however there’s a way to satisfy your sweet tooth with less than 3g of sugar. I’m not a huge dessert person, but I LOVE coconut and dark chocolate! That’s why this recipe is one of my faves, It’s super easy too and can be prepared in less than 15 min.

Chocolate Lover’s Craving Buster Macaroons
1/2 C Organic Extra Virgin Coconut Oil (1040 Kcal 112g Fat)
1/2 C Almond Butter (791 kcal 74 g Fat, 26.5 Carbs – 0g sugar &19g Protein)
1/4 C Pure Maple Syrup (200 Kcal 53g Carbs & 53g Sugar)
1Tsp Organic Vanilla Extract
2 C Shredded Unsweetened Coconut ( 800 Kcals, 80g Fat, 32g Carbs, 8g sugar & 8 g protein)
2TBS Organic Cocoa Powder (25 kcal 6g carbs, 0g sugar, 2g protein)
Pinch or two of Redmonds Real Salt to taste
Melt your coconut oil in a glass measuring cup in the microwave, stir in almond butter and vanilla. In a separate bowl combine coconut flakes, cocoa powder and salt. Mix well. Then pour in wet ingredients and mix well. Spoon on parchment papered cookie sheet and place in freezer for about 10-15 minutes and enjoy! Makes about 2 dozen macaroons.
Total Recipe Kcals = 2831 (986g Fat, 85g Carbs, 61g sugar & 29g protein) 24 servings per recipe. Per serving (1 macaroon) = 118 kcal, 11g Fat, 3g Carbs, 2.5g sugar & 1g protein
